Who we are
BTS Consulting is a business unit of Blended Technology Solutions Limited, registered in Nigeria, at 1st Floor, 137/139 Broad Street, Lagos Island, Lagos, Nigeria. For anything in this notice, write to consulting@bts.com.ng.
Where we act as a data controller under the Nigeria Data Protection Act and the NDPR, this notice applies. Where we process data on behalf of a client, that client is the controller and their notice governs; our obligations are set out in the contract between us.
What we collect
When you contact us: your name, organisation, work email, phone number and whatever you choose to tell us about what you would like to improve. We ask for nothing else.
When you subscribe to insights: your work email address only.
When you visit the site: standard server logs kept by our hosting provider, including IP address, browser and pages requested. We do not run advertising trackers on this site. [Confirm whether any analytics tool is in use and name it here.]
During an engagement: whatever is necessary to do the work, which is set out in the engagement contract rather than here.
Why we hold it, and on what basis
To reply to your enquiry and to carry out work you have asked us to do. Where you have contacted us, the basis is our legitimate interest in responding, or the steps taken before entering a contract.
To send you insights, where you asked for them. You can unsubscribe from any message and we will stop.
To meet legal, tax and audit obligations.
Who else sees it
Our hosting, email and communication providers, as processors, under contract. [List them here.]
Blended Technology Solutions Limited, where a project requires it.
Nobody else. We do not sell information, and we do not share it for advertising.
How long we keep it
Enquiries that do not become work: [12] months. Client records: for the duration of the engagement and [6] years afterwards, to meet contractual and tax obligations. Subscription details: until you unsubscribe.
Your rights
You can ask us for a copy of what we hold, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it, object to how we are using it, or ask us to stop contacting you. Write to consulting@bts.com.ng and we will respond within 30 days.
If you are not satisfied, you can complain to the Nigeria Data Protection Commission.
